First Church Knox has been a pillar of the Knoxville community since 1866, offering a warm and welcoming environment for traditional worship. Excellence in music is a core part of our ministry, and we are seeking a dedicated Director of Music to lead our music programs. Our church is growing, and we are excited to continue expanding our Chancel Choir, Handbell Ensemble, and other musical initiatives.

Position Summary

The Director of Music will enrich the worship experience through music, ensuring that all musical aspects of our services align with the church’s mission, vision, and core values. This role involves directing music ensembles, coordinating with the church organist, planning music for worship services, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive music ministry.
